Dead Sound, AKA Paul Carroll, made techno waves with his 2nd release, this year's "The Chosen" with Videohead on Perc Trax, to be followed by a solo EP in the next month or two. His experimental blend of techno, IDM, and dubstep has made it into the sets of DJs/performers including Perc, Surgeon, Dave Clarke, Richie Hawtin, James Ruskin, and Xhin. Earlier this year, Perc's mysterious Sawf released his debut album "Flaws," and a few tracks have just resurfaced as a remix EP with Radial and Moerbeck, following remixes by Marcel Fengler, DVS1 and Jerome Baker. For this edition of D-Node, the man from Athens delivers 57 minutes harder edged, industrial-leaning 4x4 and broken beat.
