Bobby Dowell has a sound that's both dark and human. With releases on Droid, Soma, Slap Jaxx, and elsewhere he's developed an approach that keeps thing moody and moving at the same time. His recent work as Pinion, including a release for Per Trax, adopts an industrial edge, taking the classic feel of screeching materials in heavy friction and driving it with the rhythms of contemporary techno.

Denver-based Mick Finesse, AKA Stephen Penders, has made his way into the international spotlight this past year with brilliant releases on Perc Trax (Tunnel Vision) and Broken20 (Spatial Anxiety).
