This week we present Energun, an interesting live act from Belarus (Eastern Block). The bulk of Energun’s releases can be found on their own Energun Records, but this recording for D-Node is made up of mostly unreleased, unnamed track arrangements. Dive into Energun’s sonic lifestyle.
Japanese veteran techno artist Q’Hey released his new album “Core” on Torque this month. The album mixes futuristic sounds and textures across a wide range of intensities and conventions. A similar, but harder sound informed by both ambient textures and driving warehouse rhythms informs his mix for us this week.
Tracklist and album preview in the post.
