Daedelus makes his return to Droid Behavior / Friendly Integration curated events this season at PRIME. Also on the bill will feature Friendly Integration founder Derek Michael, Breakcore legend Baseck, WMX of So Simple Records, and EEZIR.

We’re proud to present this heavy set from none other than Droid’s own Drumcell. This was recorded earlier in the month at Berghain in Berlin, for the CLR label night featuring Drumcell alongside Chris Liebing, Pfirter, Tommy Four Seven, Brian Sanhaji, and Monoloc. So here’s the official word on Abdulla Rashim, and the first sentence is pretty much our favorite way of introducing a DJ/producer: “Not much is known of the mysterious producer Abdulla Rashim. Being situated in Sweden and having released two records, ASAYITA and GIZAW in 2011 on his own imprint, Abdulla Rashim Records, Abdulla keeps both his sound and himself below the surface.”

Raíz joins the techno studded heavy hitting line up at Beyond Wonderland’s Cheshire Stage this year. Also on the bill will be Icons Chris Liebing, Adam Beyer, and Green Velvet among others. Rumor has it, Droid Behavior will be supporting the techno stage at Insomniac’s west-coast festivals for the remainder of 2012. Stay tuned for more details.

Speedy J should need no introduction, but for those who just got here, Jochem Paap is the Rotterdam man behind a long and accomplished career in electronic music. His discography is a recommended collection of milestones across the history and styles of techno since 1990, on labels like Plus 8, Warp, NovaMute, and Music Man among others. He now heads the excellent Electric Deluxe label/brand.

Back in mid-December Speedy J headlined Droid Behavior’s nine year anniversary, Interface 34, on a bill that included Silent Servant, Cell Injection, and Raíz. This week Drumcell appears as the featured guest DJ on the CLR podcast to celebrate his new release on the label, the Split Structure EP with Brian Sanhaji.

Tim van Paradijs runs the popular Invite’s Choice podcast out of Utrecht, where he recently featured a set from Raiz. This was the second Droid contribution to his podcast, as he first featured Audio Injection back in August 2011.

Dutch DJ/producer Dimi Angélis has made a name for himself as half of the live duo Counterpart with Jeroen Search, with whom he’s released music on A&S Records. He’s also behind Amsterdam’s monthly underground Grasp parties. His set for D-Node progresses through a few moods, from a spacey, Millsian shuffle to a more insistent, jacking slam as well as deep synth explorations that linger in harder territory, all peppered with a few of the DJ’s originals.
