We’ve been dark awhile, but we’re back with a 3-hour recording from last month’s Droid Behavior tour in Europe, recorded at a significant German club.
DJ Hyperactive should need no introduction, but he began as a DJ/producer in the ’90s Chicago scene with some widely supported acid tracks, and the next decade he was out in LA refining his sound with a techno edge. His catalogue runs deep, including a release on Droid Records, as does the list of mixes that have featured his work. Over the years he’s become an important part of the Droid showcase roster, and this mix finds him with an eclectic, hard sounds that traverses, the wild, the cosmic, and the hard while bending the mold into which many late night techno sets can fall.
