This week we’re pleased to share a set from Oscar Mulero, a longtime figure in the international techno scene and a constant fixture in the tracklists of excellent DJ sets. Entering the Madrid scene in the ’80s, he came to international recognition through early appearances at Barcelona’s Sónar festival, and since then has been recognized for his Djing abilities and to play around the world. He’s best known for his hard techno sound, but also has put out records that are more oriented toward IDM and drum & bass. Much of his output is on his own Warm Up and Pole Group labels. This week’s mix is in the hard techno vein but showcases interesting track selections with detailed sounds across the spectrum, as well as some standout, excellent mixing.
