Project 313 is the live project of DJ/producers Chad Parraghi and Nick Bien, two of the founders behind Detroit-based Blank Code, which hosts and co-hosts some of Movement’s most recognizable after parties including Substance Detroit, Friendly Integration with Detroit Underground, and Scene, which will be joining up with Droid Behavior this year for Detroit’s first INTERFACE event this Sunday at The Works. The bill’s bursting with talent including DVS1, Cell Injection, RaÃz, Hyperactive, Kyle Geiger, and Luis Flores among others, and of course Project 313.
Project 313 features a unique blend of layered loops and dark landscapes, taking a Detroit techno foundation and streamlining it toward a hypnotic, atmospheric drive. The set for D-Node was recorded earlier this month at the now legendary Slam Factory in Minneapolis and should give some sense of what’s in store from the pair this weekend.
