LA techno stalwart John Tejada has been releasing quality techno and tech-house since the mid '90s. Even with a diverse array of collaborations and off-genre experiments his productions prove reliably excellent, and his latest LP for Kompakt, "Parabolas," is a flowing, rounded suite of delicately-treated sound, a few old-school nods brought into the near future, and dangerous hooks.
Tejada's reliability extends to the decks, making him an in-demand DJ for those who recognize live talent...

On Jul 16, Droid Behavior held the 33rd installment of their legendary Interface series. CLR head honcho Chris Liebing provided a night of unforgettable and epic techno of the dark persuasion. Sharing the stage were Drumcell + Audio Injection as Cell Injection, Dean Paul, Andrew Kelley, and Oktaform on visuals. Check out the clips after the jump. Earlier this year, Perc's mysterious Sawf released his debut album "Flaws," and a few tracks have just resurfaced as a remix EP with Radial and Moerbeck, following remixes by Marcel Fengler, DVS1 and Jerome Baker. For this edition of D-Node, the man from Athens delivers 57 minutes harder edged, industrial-leaning 4x4 and broken beat.
